Who we are
Creekside Marine is family-owned and operated by husband-and-wife team, Steve and April Clodgo, life-long Addison County residents, both growing up and raising their family in the Bristol, Vermont area.
Steve and April, passionate boaters and fishers for over 20 years, discovered what is now Creekside Marine and quickly fell in love with the peaceful, serene surroundings. In 2022, Creekside Marine, Inc. was established, and Steve began answering the phone as “Creekside Marine” from day one, ensuring a smooth transition and no downtime for customers.
You’re likely to run into both Steve and April at Creekside. Steve has extensive experience as a mechanic, working not only on marine vessels but also small engine repair and over 18 years as a certified aircraft mechanic. His background includes maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a range of mechanical and electrical systems, demonstrating versatility and adaptability. Steve runs all daily operations in the shop, storage buildings, docks and Creekside property maintenance. April’s corporate background enables her to tackle all of Creekside’s backend functions - wearing the financial, HR, systems and marketing hats for the business. They truly are a powerhouse team and couple, uniquely positioned to take on the business of their dreams.
Steve and April are most proud of the great service they provide for their customers, and “talking boats” with folks from both near and far who stop by with questions. Helping people better understand their boats and trailers, being up front and transparent, and solving repair problems for customers is Steve’s favorite part of each day.
Whether you’re a current or future customer, we look forward to you stopping by and visiting Creekside Marine, we’ll see you soon!

In Memory
It is an honor to remember and recognize those that came before us. Without them, we would not be the people we are today, nor would we have the opportunity to live our dreams with Creekside Marine.
Paul E. Hance Sr. – A great lover of music, and a man of strong faith. Paul retired from Vermont’s Betcha Transit Company where he worked tirelessly for many years as a mechanic. It is our belief that Steve received his love of repairing things from his grandfather, Paul.
Thelma E. Hance – Kindness, was Thelma in a single word. She had a giving heart and lovely spirit. I (April) only knew Thelma for a short period of time, but she touched my soul like no one before. Thelma was wonderfully devoted to her faith and her husband, Paul. She truly was a kind and gentle soul.
They live on in our hearts, and in our work and service to the community with Creekside Marine.
April & Steve
